Mission Ready Research 2026

Innovation in Action

Join us for Mission Ready Research 2026: Innovation in Action! Building on the success of the long-running Research Review series, Mission Ready Research will showcase the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Software Engineering Institute's (SEI’s) latest achievements and research advancements in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and software engineering. The SEI will host this free, in-person event on November 18 and 19 in Pittsburgh.

On 18 November individuals from U.S. Government Agencies and their contractors will have the opportunity to learn about projects relevant to them in a CUI restricted environment through hands-on demonstrations and direct engagement with SEI researchers.

On 19 November everyone is welcome to learn about current SEI innovations and the broader impact of SEI’s work over the past year, see open demonstrations, and directly engage with SEI researchers.

This year’s theme, Innovation In Action, highlights SEI collaborations aligning Department of War (DoW) needs with current and emerging technological advances. You’ll have opportunities to engage directly with the SEI engineers and researchers transitioning innovation to drive demonstrable results, to meet with SEI staff to discuss solutions to your current challenges, and to establish a mission partnership with the SEI as we support the DoW’s transformation across national security and mission-critical systems.

Registration is now open. We look forward to seeing you at Mission Ready Research 2026!
